Directions to the Monastery from Interstate 84 in New York:

 

If coming from the west, Cross Newburgh-Beacon Bridge and go to exit 44. Turn right off the ramp and follow **below.

 

If coming from the east, (Connecticut, I-684, or the Taconic State Parkway), get off at Exit 44. Turn left off the ramp and follow**below.

 

** Continue for one or two blocks to the Sunoco Station. Turn left onto Old Glenham Road and go about a mile. You'll see post office and pizza store on your left, at the corner. Turn left at this corner. Cross creek and railroad and continue, this is Washington Avenue. After about a mile, you'll pass a cemetery on your left and then come to a fork. Bear left at the fork onto DePuyster Avenue, continue for two blocks until you see the Carmelite Monastery sign. Turn left onto Hiddenbrooke Drive. The road up to the monastery is about a half a mile.
