Novena for the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Dear Friends, Please join us in prayer as we remember your intentions during our Novena in honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel July 7-15.

In keeping with Corona virus precautions, we are not yet ready to open our chapel to dear friends who ordinarily join in our July 16 celebration. We will be holding you in prayer, entrusting you and your loved ones to Mary’s unfailing care.

An early Carmelite author described Mary as a “harbor for humankind” and a “soothing breeze in adversity.” We know that many continue to struggle with the uncertainty, anxiety, fear and grief brought on by Covid-19. Turn to Mary. Our strong and gentle Mother will help you in your every need.

Surely this Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel will be like no other, but we look forward to the joyous day when we can once again celebrate the Eucharist with our friends. Your loving Carmelite Sisters
